Delivery & Returns Policy
This policy outlines how Smelly Smiths delivers your order and what to do if you need to return an item. We aim to be as clear as possible so you know exactly what to expect when you shop with us!
Delivery
We create all our products by hand, so please be patient as we lovingly craft your order.
- Dispatch Times: As all our products are handmade to order, please allow up to 30 days for dispatch from the date of your purchase. During busy periods, such as holidays, this may take a little longer.
- Delivery Timeframes: Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times are subject to the courier. Please note that all delivery dates provided are estimates.
- Delivery Charges: All delivery charges are clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. There are no hidden fees.
- Responsibility for your Order: Smelly Smiths is responsible for your order until it is delivered to you or left with a person you have nominated to receive it. If your order is lost or damaged in transit, we will work with the courier to resolve the issue and ensure you receive your items or a full refund.
Returns & Refunds
We want you to be completely happy with your Smelly Smiths order. However, if you are not, here is our policy for returns and refunds.
Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund, including the basic cost of delivery, if you change your mind.
- How to Cancel: You must notify us of your decision to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.
- Returning the Items: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the items to us. The cost of returning the items is your responsibility unless they are faulty.
- Refund: We will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
The right to cancel does not apply to items that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons. This includes our bath bombs, soaps, and scrubs if the protective packaging or seal has been broken or removed.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have a legal right to a refund, repair, or replacement.
- How to Report a Problem: Please contact us at hello@smellysmiths.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue. If possible, please include a photo of the item.
- Our Responsibility: We will assess the issue and, if the item is found to be faulty, we will cover the cost of the return and offer you a full refund, a repair, or a replacement.
